Bear’s Color by Numbers

The established iPhone/iPad, Amazon Fire and Google Play versions have separate purchases and local coloring. The following instructions apply to those versions, not to Holiday Pixels’ separate subscription and content service.

How do I color?

Select a numbered color, then tap or drag with one finger through matching squares. Use two fingers to move and pinch to zoom. Undo removes your last stroke.

What is free?

The Easy versions of Brown Bear, Butterfly, Frog, Airplane, and Sunflower are free. One optional Full Color Library purchase unlocks all 228 pictures across four difficulties. There is no subscription.

Are the Apple and Amazon apps connected?

The apps share artwork and a support email, but have no shared developer backend or app account. Coloring progress and purchases do not sync or transfer between Apple, Amazon and Google Play. Each store manages its own purchases. Buying the Apple version’s library does not unlock the Amazon version, or vice versa.

How do I restore a purchase on iPhone or iPad?

Open Settings, choose Unlock or restore full library (or Purchase and restore details), complete the grown-up gate, then choose Restore Purchases. Use the Apple Account that made the purchase.

How do I restore a purchase on Amazon Fire?

Install the app from Amazon Appstore and use the Amazon account that made the purchase. Connect to the internet, open Settings, choose Restore purchase, and complete the grown-up gate. Restore purchase is also available in the Full library dialog. Restoration unlocks the library without buying again. It does not restore saved coloring. For a private Live App Test, reinstall from that test’s invitation or Appstore listing.

How do I restore on Google Play?

Install from Google Play with the Google account used to buy. Open Settings, choose Restore purchase and complete the grown-up gate. Restore recovers library access, not coloring progress. In-app purchases are not shared through Google Play Family Library. For supervised accounts, review Google Play’s purchase approval settings and payment availability. Android app backup is disabled; uninstalling removes local coloring.

Where is my progress?

Open My coloring to return to saved pictures. Progress stays on your device and does not sync between devices. On Amazon Fire, uninstalling removes local coloring because app backup is disabled. On iPhone and iPad, progress recovery depends on any device backups you maintain with Apple. Restoring a purchase restores library access, not saved coloring.

What if saving fails?

Check the saving message in the coloring screen or Settings. Contact support with the displayed error. Avoid deleting the app while troubleshooting saved progress.

How do I erase coloring?

In Settings, choose Erase all coloring progress (iPhone/iPad) or Erase all coloring (Amazon Fire), complete the grown-up gate, and confirm. This removes saved coloring from this device while keeping favorites, settings, and purchases.

Can I color offline?

Yes. Pictures are bundled in the app. Purchasing and restoring require access to Apple’s services on iPhone/iPad, Amazon’s services on Fire, or Google Play on Android. After a purchase has been verified on the device, the unlocked library can be used offline.

Holiday Pixels by Bear

Holiday Pixels is a separate seasonal color-by-number app for iPhone and iPad, being prepared for App Store release. Invited testers can use it through TestFlight. Start with 28 Thanksgiving and Diwali pictures, seven at each of four difficulties. New seasonal pictures arrive monthly, and earlier collections stay in the growing catalog. Each difficulty has its own artwork and saved coloring.

How does access work?

An active monthly subscription or introductory trial is required to color. Eligible Apple Accounts can try seven days free. After the trial, the subscription renews at the price and billing period shown on your store’s purchase screen. No separate app account is needed. A purchase in Bear’s Color by Numbers does not include this subscription.

If you start a free trial, payment is charged to your Apple Account after the trial unless canceled at least 24 hours before it ends. Without a free trial, payment is charged at purchase confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in Apple’s subscription settings. Apple determines introductory-trial eligibility.

How do I restore or cancel?

Choose Restore subscription and use the Apple Account that made the purchase. Manage or cancel through Apple’s subscription settings. Removing the app does not cancel billing. Restoration recovers subscription access, not lost coloring.

Where is my coloring?

Your coloring is saved on this device and retained when subscription access ends. Cross-device coloring sync is not included. Removing downloaded picture data keeps previews and saved coloring. Deleting the app can remove local coloring; device backups follow your Apple settings. You can erase coloring separately in Settings.

Can I color offline?

Installed pictures can be colored while your verified subscription access remains valid and recent. Reconnection is required no later than 72 hours after the last successful verification and may be required sooner. Purchasing, restoring and downloading new content require connectivity.

What should I test in TestFlight?

Check the Apple subscription/trial and restore flows, collection downloads, coloring and saved progress, optional comfort controls and your selected language. TestFlight purchases use Apple’s sandbox and do not charge testers; they do not carry over to the released app. Send feedback through TestFlight or the support email above. Include the app and OS versions, device, language, picture and difficulty.
